(Star-of-Bethlehem) Long lasting cluster of white flowers which flowers successively for several weeks, borne on stems over 25 cm tall. Good for bedding, pot plant or cut flowers. Cold tolerant and blooms in late spring/summer.

Crinum amoenumNative to India, it has proven to be very adaptable in all climates. The large white flowers with long petals arranged in umbels have very attractive purple stamens. Makes very good pot plants. Fragrant and mid summer flowering.

Hemanthus multiflorus(Haemanthus multiflorus). Also known as ‘Football Lily’. Produces numerous blood red flowers in shape and almost the size of a football. Flowers come first and the leaves appear later. Good for pot-plants and gardens. A real treat for the eyes when flowering in mass.
Hippeastrum equstriA miniature species with deep scarlet red flowers. The flowers are red with green throat. The stem is about 20 cm tall with flowers 6 to 7 cm wide.
Hippeastrum roseumStems over 40 cm tall bearing star shaped rose- pink long lasting flowers 7 to 8 cm across. Excellent for cut flower.

Hippestrelia Durga PradhanWay back in the 1960s Mr. Udai C. Pradhan (Research Partner of our Company) , made a bigeneric hybrid between Hippeastrum species x Sprekelia formosissima (Also known as Orchid Amaryllis or Aztec Lily) and named the plant after one of his late grandfather, Durga Shamsher Pradhan, founder of the Chandra Nursery in Sikkim. The hybrid turned out to be an intermediate between the two parents in every respect and inherited the orchid-look of its pollen parent. H. Durga Pradhan makes excellent pot-plant and when grown outdoors in milder climates.
